eXate Products

eXate provides a suite of products for discovering, classifying, protecting, and securely sharing sensitive data across applications, databases, APIs, files, and batch processing environments. Each product addresses a specific stage of the data protection lifecycle while using the same core platform concepts, including Manifests, Policies, Attributes, and Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).

Products

  • APIgator: Applies policy-driven data protection through REST and gRPC APIs, allowing applications, services, and integration platforms to protect structured data and files without direct integration with data sources.

  • Datagator: Protects data queried live from databases by operating at the JDBC or wire protocol layer. Datagator evaluates Manifests and Policies to enforce row-level and column-level access controls before applying Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), ensuring users receive only the data they are authorised to access.

  • GatorSet: Protects data processed in bulk between systems, such as ETL jobs, migrations, and batch pipelines. GatorSet applies masking, tokenisation, encryption, or combinations of these techniques at scale, protects primary and foreign keys while preserving referential integrity, and copies DDL to maintain the target schema during migration.

  • GatorAId: Automatically discovers and classifies sensitive data within source systems, generating Manifests that map data structures to eXate Attributes. This accelerates onboarding and reduces the effort required to configure data protection policies.
