How to Connect to a Database

Prerequisite: a source connection must already be set up in the eXate Vault before you can create a connection to a specific database.

1. Navigate to the Datagator menu and select Database Configuration
2. Click the "+" button to create a new database job definition
3. Select the database type (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Snowflake)
4. Select the source connection, already set up in the eXate Vault
5. Click Connect, the database will appear, letting you select the tables you want
